Plans for sensitive management on farms in the Krkonoše Mountains
Species rich meadows with mat-grass are one 
of the priority targets for nature protection in the whole of Europe. These are found on more than 1000 ha in the Krkonoše Mountains. The subjects of protection in the SCI Krkonoše are about 873 ha of mat-grass meadows. There are 110 farmers on these meadows.
The aim of this project LIFE Corcontica is to find farmers whose lands have as much of the mat-grass meadows as possible.
We would like to protect these places effectively by plans for sensitive management.
We have already done 10 plans for sensitive management. They are managed since 2015. You can see them here.
