Autumn meeting
Attendance at the seminar was abundant despite the weather. We managed to fill almost the entire bus with which we were to look at the long-uninhabited meadows of Žacléřských Bud.
At the first stop, I was amused about the possibilities of managing this neglected enclave and tried to outline the most appropriate and quickest care for the restoration and subsequent retention.
Upon arriving at the Blue Mine, we have been able to see the enclave managed for many years and compare the advantages and disadvantages of sheep and cattle grazing.
In Modrý Dole, we also expected a demonstration of the fertilization of the poor meadows and an attempt to disturb the dregs of dowry, from which we promise to retreat and return the flowering species to increase the richness of the mountain meadows.
We believe the event has been successful and we look forward to another similar meeting!
